Elizabeth Aubert M.A., L.P.C., N.C.C.

 Elizabeth Aubert is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and the owner of Credence Counseling Services. Since the late 1990s, she has been dedicated to serving communities on the Western Slope, beginning her career at the Colorado Mental Health Institute at Fort Logan. From the start, she found deep purpose in supporting individuals with persistent mental health conditions and underserved populations. Her commitment to suicide prevention and intervention has played a vital role in bringing hope and positive change to many.

 

Elizabeth works with children, adolescents, adults, families, and neurodiverse populations. She specializes in trauma, pain disorders, and family support, while also offering care for couples, addictions, anxiety, mood disorders, and dual diagnoses. Her approach centers on helping clients reshape unhelpful thought patterns, build stronger relationships, and discover lasting healing.

Her extensive training includes trauma recovery, play therapy, parent coaching, suicide prevention, and addiction recovery. She is a certified provider of the CAMS Framework and a Master ASIST Trainer, and she is also trained in EMDR, TF-CBT, Play Therapy, and is a Certified AutPlay provider. In her practice, she incorporates ACT, DBT, and Gestalt Therapy.

 

Elizabeth believes that trauma, no matter how long ago it occurred, is treatable. She is passionate about guiding clients through meaningful transformation and is proud to lead a team at Credence Counseling Services that brings the highest level of expertise and compassion to their work.

EveAnn Vega - LSW

EveAnne Vega, LSW is a dedicated social worker with a passion for helping others navigate life's constant ebb and flow. With a solution-focused and trauma-informed approach, she meets individuals where they are in their journey, guiding them through self-exploration and life processing. EveAnne is committed to empowering people to navigate challenges and find positive, sustainable solutions. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with loved ones being in nature and has a deep love for animals.

EveAnne Vega, MSW, LSW, is a dedicated social worker with a passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges. She earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Kansas and brings a compassionate, solution-focused, and trauma-informed approach to her practice.

 

EveAnne has professional experience in hospice care, where she supported individuals and families through times of transition, grief, and loss. This background enriches her therapeutic work, allowing her to meet people with empathy and guide them through deeper self-exploration. She is committed to empowering clients to navigate challenges and discover sustainable, positive solutions.

 

She believes in meeting individuals where they are in their journey and walking alongside them toward growth and healing. Outside of her professional role, EveAnne enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring nature, and caring for animals.

Kayla Hunter

Kayla Hunter, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., believes therapy should help people move through life’s challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and self-awareness. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care to both individuals and families. She offers a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences—whether they are navigating anxiety, grief, relationship stress, trauma, or behavioral concerns.

 

Kayla earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from the University of Nevada, Reno. Her professional background includes supporting clients through significant life transitions and emotional struggles, always with a focus on building self-compassion and hope.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each person. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and strengths-based, humanistic frameworks. For children and younger clients, she incorporates developmentally appropriate techniques such as play, art, and storytelling to encourage expression and growth in natural, empowering ways.

 

At the heart of her work is a person-centered philosophy: meeting clients where they are, offering validation and kindness, and providing practical tools to create meaningful, lasting change.

Elenor Vernon - LPCC

Eleanor (Ellie) Vernon, M.A., LPCC, earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in 2024, after completing her bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Colorado Mesa University. She has specialized post-graduate training in Play Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

In her early career, Ellie has found herself especially drawn to working with children, families, and couples, though she remains open to supporting a wide range of client populations. Her education includes training in positive psychology, career development, ACT, spirituality, and understanding death and dying. She has worked with individuals facing anxiety, depression, suicidality, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, and career exploration.

 

Ellie’s approach integrates a positive, person-centered perspective with skills from ACT, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness practices. She strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients of all ages can develop tools for healing and personal growth.

 

Outside of counseling, Ellie enjoys tending her garden—she is a Master Gardener—and spending time with creative pursuits such as baking, orchard work, beading, crochet, and drawing. She also enjoys exploring imaginative spaces through building in Minecraft and other survival games.

Mith Krikorian

Mith Krikorian is a master’s-level student intern from Adams State University, currently completing their degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. They hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation from Laguna College of Art and Design.
Before beginning their internship, Mith completed a practicum with Dr. Stephanie Manion at Grand Valley Behavior Services and Consulting, where they began applying their developing clinical skills in a professional setting. Now, through their internship at Credence Counseling Services, they are expanding their experience and deepening their practice under supervision.
Mith believes that collaboration is essential in the therapeutic process. They strive to build trusting, supportive relationships with clients, working together to identify strengths, foster resilience, and promote growth. Their approach is grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for healing and transformation when met with compassion and the right tools.
Dedicated to ongoing professional development, Mith actively engages in training and supervision to ensure they are providing the most current, evidence-based care. Having recently relocated to Colorado, they are also enjoying discovering the outdoors, making new friends, and exploring everything the state has to offer.
